The Fungi World (385) : Yellow Brain fungus

Yellow brain is a typical winter fungus.

It's a greasy and slimy fungus with an irregular shaped fruiting body that grows only in crevices on dead bark parts from different kinds of deciduous trees.

A beautiful appearance in the dark winter forest !

Dutch name : Gele trilzwam
German name : Goldgelber Zitterling
Latin name : Tremella mesenterica

Der ist ja wunderschön von der Größe und Farbe. Und so eingebettet zwischen Moos und Flechte kommt er wunderbar zur Geltung. Auch die Schärfe ist vom Feinsten. Eine tolle Aufnahme.
