The Fungi world (437) : Deer mushroom
The deer mushroom is one of the few fungi that can easily grow in dry weather conditions.
The name ‘deer mushroom’ is pretty well chosen, as I do see deer occasionally eating these mushrooms, as well as squirrels.
Dutch name : Gewone hertenzwam
German name : Rehbrauner Dachpilz
Latin name : Pluteus cervinus
