The Living Forest (42) : Herb-Robert

Herb-Robert produces small, pink, five-petalled flowers (about 1cm. in diameter) that can bloom from april until the autumn.
In the picture you can clearly see the difference in size between a Herb-Robert and a Dandelion.

Dutch name : Robertskruid
German name : Ruprechtskraut (auch Stinkender Storchschnabel gennant)
Latin name : Geranium Robertianum

The dandelion looks like the big brother of the fragile looking Herb-Robert (never heard that name before)

Excellent focus, such sharpness and brilliant colour in this tiny blossom - just saw a lot of them yesterday - all mixed in with dandelions. We seem to have sooooo many dandelions this year!
