Two Sentinels

Two old trees that have stood watch over over this road and fields for many years. Taken near Lett, Iowa in the eastern part of the state.

their chats across the road have kept them alive and perky over the years! good country roads make good neighbors, as robert frost didn't say. ; ) i agree, though: it's a beautiful and atmospherical monochrome image! i particularly like the filigree structure of the trees, which appear to be gentle gesticulating at each other across the road! the stuff that fables are made of… ; ) greetings, sabine.
