This is certainly an unusual and interesting image.I like it but I do agree with Robyn about the limited tonal range.

Great concept. I do long for a few deep rich, black shadows to enhance the drama. The predominance of midtone grays against the white bg is interesting, but the chain would gain in the appearance of substantive weight with deeper shadows, which would increase the perception of sociological shackling and lack of choice. This is a great kickoff to a potentially fabulous series.
