I am a hobby photographer, mostly inspired when traveling.
Started as a Teenager in the nineties with the EXA I from my father, who also showed me how to process a film and develop an exposure. Soon I tried medium format with an PENTACON sixTL and bought myself a Canon EOS something. Then the rising of the digital technique chilled my enthusiasm for a while. Still - I feel kinda overwhelmed by the flood of digital images surrounding our lifes today. In 2009 I started pinhole photography with a Zero 2000, as an effort to get back that feeling and fun which photography gave me in the first place. That worked out really well and in 2011 the Fujifilm Finepix X100 helped me to warm to a digital camera. I like that I can handle it in the accustomed manner, and just having that one, very good prime lens, calms me when looking for the right frame. So since then, these two are the only companions when I am looking for something to attract my attention.

Dieses völlige Verschwinden in dem, was man sieht: Nicht mehr das Bedürfnis zu haben, zu interpretieren, sondern ausschließlich zu schauen. Es gibt da ein ganz eigenes Gefühl der Zufriedenheit, das man aus dem Blick, der Einsamkeit und der Reise schöpfen kann, und das an den Zusammenhang zwischen Einsamkeit und Photographie geknüpft ist. Hi Maik,Danke für deinen Kommentar auf meiner Seite. Ich gebe dir recht bzgl. Bildbearbeitung... man muss aufpassen, dass einem dabei nicht "die Pferde durchgehen".
Den Spruch von Wim Wenders kannte ich gar nicht, trifft aber auch bei mir immer wieder zu.

Yesterday our sauna became an obscura room and my main digital camera flaunts black wrap with a quarter mm hole in the middle as a "lens". The whole exercise was just my harmless curiosity until I saw your photographs. Dude, your pictures are great! They taught me that this pinhole stuff is a little more than a hole in the wall or some black wrap...polli24 14/08/2020 11:53
