Seit vielen Jahren bin ich an Fotografie interessiert, allerdings habe ich mich nicht kontinuierlich damit beschäftigt.
Begonnen habe ich mit einer noch analogen Minolta 500 dann 800, bevor ich dann digital zu Sony wechselte und nun mit meiner Nikon D5100 unterwegs bin.
Meine Interessen liegen im Bereich der Landschafts-, Menschen- und S/W Fotografie.

Hi Nils,Nice to hear from you. As you can gather from my last pic I've spent a nice fortnight in the island of Kithira in the southest tip of Peloponese peninsula.. Delighted to meet yo again in Thessaloniki but make it up to mid October because after the 23rd I shall probably be abroad. I'm sure we'll fix it.

Hi, NilsWhat a pleasure to have you back again after quite a bit of absence.. I'm quite sure your surfacing wiil be followed with some special shots as was always the case. I'm leaving next Sunday for a ten days brake in Kythera, an island on the southest tip of Peloponese. Are you planning any trip to Thessalonika? We could meet same place, same day, same time!... As refers to the picture, I don't think is a vignetting otherwise I would have wiped it off. honestly I don't remember, I'll have to search in my external hard disk to see the original. It's an old picture.

Many thanks or your comment here. It is a picture that I have never edited previously. I found it in my archives and gave it a shot.....deciding to convert to b/w in CS5.
Iliked the result, and it is good to find that someone else....yourself....finds it pleasing also.

Hello again Nils,First of all let me assure you that NO offence was taken by me with reguards to your comments. As I said I do agree with you........and I alsso noted the compliment about my more recent work, especially the landscapes. I really like to take many different things but landscape photography, especially in Scotland is what I love best. It is a pity that it would take us 10/12 hours to reach the north west of that wonderful country.......mountains are where I love to be......not only Scotish mountains......Norwegian ones also.
So once again may I thank you for your honest comments as well as for the praise. It is refreshing to find someone who is and can be honest without being nasty or pedantic about it.

Hello Nils.....and many thanks for your honesty on my picture. It is refreshing to have someone say it as it is, good and honest comments are sometimes few and fr between........and I think that no-one wishes to upset anyone, which is fine but....how are we tolearn if we are not advised when there are things that could be betteron our work.

Hi Nils,Do you mean Thermais the tavern in Thermi? I found information about that. It is quite famous not for the quality of the food but for ...three repated fines (total of 30000 EU) from the PHS(Public Hygiene Service) because of unhealthy conditions in the premises!!.Wait for your opinion! alexander
