Sobre mi
My name is Martina Capodanno and I'm 23 years old. I'm Italian but I'm living and working in London (UK) after 20 years in Sicily and almost one year in Canada (Quebec).
I have always been fascinated about everything embraces capturing pieces of reality through any kind of art form. Drawing and painting have always been my favourite kind of art expression, or better, the only ones I was used to think I could 'reach'.
I inherited my attitude for the photography from my father, and I have got involved into photography after years spent looking at his works and thinking the photography was a kind of art too much fine and difficult for me.
My favourite subject is the world around me. This may sound obvious, but it simply means than even if sometimes I have shots with models (friends and relatives mostly), the thing which truly fascinates me is the collection of daily situation and places I see, as said, around me: streets, normal people, children and their parents, flowers and little things that seem living only waiting for someone to notice them. And that's what I try to do. Capture littlest things.
My current tool of trade is a Digital SLR Olympus E-420.
