from the series and forthcoming exhibition "Preparing Olympia 2010"

London does not need to create more tourism. Overpriced hotels and hostels are already fully booked to capacity. So why spending 15 or more billion pounds (20 milliarden Euros) on Olympic Games nobody really wants?
London got the Games with an application budget of 4.5 billion...now we are up to 15 billion...
Buiding- and road works on every corner are already disrupting our daily life severely.
Our society is falling apart...poverty is rising and more and more excepted...
THE PEOPLE NEVER WANTED THIS GAMES!!! F... OLYMPIA

yes, it's the same all over the world, always bigger and better. At the cost of human lives. We don't need more concrete, but more schools and hospitals, etc.

Vue du Londres qu'il faut connaître, loin de la City, de Westminster et des rues aux commerces rutilants... la vie quotidienne, bien plus grise, un peu désespérante mais on on y trouve malgré tout une chaleur humaine qui réconforte... et qui distrait de la bière...

A great street shot and insight into an area that tourists don't see. Vancouverites did not want the Olympics until they actually happened ... there were a lot of protests and there is debt. Unfortunately, this seems to be common for places that host the Games.
