New York is not a city of only skyscrapers...A stroll in the West part of Lower Manhattan takes to Greenwich Village, one of the most interesting parts of the city which consists a real museam of that pretty as much legendary New York that we often see in the old marvel american films and where one can admire the traditional buildings with the gray brick window facades and external iron stairs that occasionally also may reflect peculiar colours. Many areas of the Village are very much in fashion, as Tribeca, with nice restaurants and shops.

    So typical. NY buildings without their fire stairs - unthinkable. Fine and colourful impression of this fascinating city.

    New York seems to be a strange mix of old[ish] and new, good and bad and a myriad of differing style.
