A Tree of Thirty Floors
A Place Called Home
Walking through the city of Milan, despite the fact I come from a nearby town, I recognize places that have been part of my daily routine for a very long time.
Developing my work I observe the world around me from several points of view. Looking up high I can see things that are completely different from what there is at my height. A city has got many faces, and the rush around me disappears looking at the sky becoming static, solid and, somehow, an entity above reality. When I look at these beautiful architectures I feel a sensation of tranquillity and stillness which contrasts with the turmoil in which I find myself and I understand how, unconsciously, I absorbed whatever was around me; images, shapes, materials, in the urban background, take shape in my head and makes me feel in 'A Place Called Home'.
I used titles of songs by Milanese authors and singers to entitle my pictures.

Excellent shot, you have excluded the sky and the road to create a perpetual continuity.ann mari cris aschieri 03/12/2022 22:17
