Appetizing Aromas, Borough Market
Just a quick capture here in this arcade alongside of London’s Borough Market, but it brings forth the
most delightful olfactory memories of grilling meats and enticing spicy aromas, from a brisk November
day of shooting in south London’s Borough of Southwark.
The Guildable Manor is a restaurant within the deliciously Dickensian Borough Market, but it also
caters to shoppers and pedestrians, here in the vicinity of Southwark Cathedral and the London
Bridge Station railroad overpass, with its outdoor serving window.
No, I did not stop to partake, as I wanted to be active with the cameras while twilight
brought a special magic to this motif-rich part of south London.
Which only means that the gustatory attractions of Borough Market
move to the top of my to-visit list when next in London.
The photo was made on Ilford HP5 Plus through a Zeiss Biogon 21mm f/2.8 lens on my Contax G2.
