At a Grade Crossing in Chase

Not sure if they were train lovers or just waiting to cross the tracks and wondering how many more cars on this
very long Canadian Pacific Railway freight train would have to rumble through the grade crossing before they could...

But clearly, Ol' Blue could not have been less interested in counting container cars in
the warm sunshine of this late summer afternoon in Chase, British Columbia.

From a Fujichrome transparency.

no right, ol' blue is counting something else: SNIFF, SNIFF! olfactory stimuli: "1, 2, 8, 23, 57!* wow, 57 moles i could have caught, if i weren't hooked to that stupid leash!"

a shot that to me oozes a lovely "endless summer feel"! greetings, sabine.

*for dogs counting is hard, and ol' blue never really caught on to it! ; )
