Originating from the Western Himalayas, Afghanistan & Tadzhikistan.
Bergenia is also know as “Pigsqueak”, because when you rub the shiny leaves together that’s the sound you get.
Dutch name : Schoenlappersplant
German name : Herzblättrige Bergenie
Latin name : Bergenia cordifolia purpurea
