Best Friends
I met this gentleman on a street corner in Mount Vernon, Washington, the Sunday of the city's annual street fair. He and is very good friend sat in all the hubbub, being ignored them and ignoring right back. He was a delight. I can't speak whether the hubbub was a delight or not. It was that busy, the hubbub.

Hello Ronn,of course we all show our pictures in the way we like them. Please don't feel critizised. 'Best Friends' is a great shot indeed. Is just my tase wich makes it look - how shall I say - too 'digital' for me.
But all in all I like the most of your work!

Hans

Thanks for the visit, Randy. I sharpened my image slightly with Smart Sharpen in Photoshop just prior to saving it. I'm unaware of the trend you find bothersome and a little confused by what you consider my overuse of micro-contrast. I suspect it's this latter issue, however, that you feel detracts from my shot. I disagree, of course. My image is what it is, and it was recently featured by Ninh Tran on Twitter. I only offer that as an example of how we photographers see the world through our own eyes.Randyderzweite 24/04/2015 19:27
Hi Ronn,I like the shot but I think the picture is oversharpened andhas too much micro-contrast.
May be a trend in this days but for me it's too much!
