Short before this vacation I ordered a ND3 filter and luckily received it before leaving. Here my first try, very stormy weather, high waves splashing against the promenade and salty wind attacking my camera on a tripod. Exposure time: 30s I think I should take a 2nd try during more comfortable conditions...

beautiful scene ... nice symmetrical view, and the calm water and sky a perfect combination to create the mood .... fine exposure and filter work !!!

hard to imagine the high waves… your filter really succeeded in taming the wild sea! ; ) and yet, the image is still so very dynamic and full of tension because of the composition and the colors. the cloudscape – one forceful surge towards the horizon! and the symmetrical fence construction, – I – , suggesting that the turquoise sea is far from tame and can always leap at you through the gap – great! but eventually it's the orange in the sky that makes the image for me!! greetings, sabine.
