Busy street in downtown Kandy

Kandy is a fascinating city in the middle of Sri Lanka. A unique Buddhist temple, an incredible landscape, tea plantations nearby and a very interesting train ride to get there. Also, it is a city with over 100,000 inhabitants. This picture was taken from a tea/coffee/restaurant one floor above street level. I was enjoying watching how people went about their normal activities. I chose this edit in particular because it outlines multiple layers very clearly, in a kind of comic book aesthetic. I think this gives a glimpse of that world, very foreign to me and quite attractive as well.
