Castle Corroy-le-Chateau (Belgium)

This castle was originally built between 1220 and 1230 as a strong military defense stronghold.

During the following centuries, it underwent only very few changes and was never pillaged or destroyed.

This well kept castle never lost its impressive and solid medieval looks and is still in good shape despite its age.

Eine ganz wunderbare Aufnahme!!! Ich mag sie, diese dicken Türme mit den schmucken grauen Dächern! Ich mag diese klaren Formen und Linien. Als schmückende Details sind einige Treppengiebel zu entdecken!! Eine sehr ursprünglich wirkende Anlage - und die Brücke mit den Rundbogen gefällt mir in den klaren Formen auch ausgesprochen gut!!! Das Laub am rechten und linken Bildrand wirkt fast ein wenig wie ein Rahmen.... super, Deine gelungene Aufnahme! LG! a.
