Nafpaktia is one of the most beautiful mountainous regions in central Greece(Sterea Hellas).Dense forests,river valleys and lakes offer pleasant holiday resorts especially during the high temp of summers.
In one of my excursions there and standing high on the river bank I saw an amazing amount of cattle resting or refreshing in the water.

    indeed a large herd here, and a beautiful mountainous landscape ... the ground looks a bit bare and not for grazing, but the water seems fresh and inviting ... a very idyllic scene !!!
