Coal Terminal
From mines in Western Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio come trains of 100+ coal hoppers to the Port of Baltimore.
There, at the CSX Curtis Bay coal transloading facility, the various coal types are unloaded from the trains, mixed to provide
the blends needed to fuel industrial production, and loaded into huge oceangoing freighters for destinations around the world.
