Cockleroy Hill Panorama (East View)

The weather had changed noticeably since I'd stood on Cairnpapple Hill that morning and visibility improved, although there was still haze in the air. On the left side of the panorama you can see Linlithgow with its cathedral and palace. In front a small tree-lined lake, the Forth of Firth, the Forth Bridges and in the distance Bass Rock bird island and Berwick Law mountain. Edinburgh's local mountain, Arthur's Seat, appears a little further to the right, and further south the Lammermuir Hills. Above all, the rolling hills of Lothians with their fields, meadows and forests nestle in a landscape well worth exploring.

The Panoram was stichted with ACR from 50 handheld portrait format pictures.

Das Wetter hatte sich, seit ich morgens auf Cairnpapple Hill stand merklich geàndert und die Fernsicht sich verbessert, obwohl immer noch Dunst in der Luft lag. Auf der linken Seite des Panoramas erkennt man Linlithgow mit seiner Katedrale und Palast. Davor ein kleiner, von Bäumen umstandener, See, der Forth of Firth, die Forth Brücken und in der Ferne die Vogelinsel Bass Rock und den Berg Berwick Law. Etwas weiter rechts taucht dann Edinburghs Hausberg Arthur's Seat auf und weiter südlich die Lammermuir Hills. Vor alle dem schmiegen sich die sanften Hügel Lothians mit ihren Feldern, Wiesen und Wäldern in die Landschaft, die es lohnt zu erkunden.

Das Paorama wurde aus 50 freihändigen Hochformataufnahmen mit ACR zusammengesetzt.
