hotdog suggest the months-distant summer and its excited crowds, on this frigid December afternoon.

The many attractions of Luna Park are closed for the season, but their deserted
state provided many a motif (*) on this first visit to Coney Island since childhood.

In the words of a famous action-movie hero...I'll be back!
