Contemplating human vanity...
Egypt
Giza pyramids
A visitor stands astounded in front of Pharao's Mycerine pyramid in Giza.
Admiration for a world's wonder or just scepticism about the extent of human vanity?....

Carlo

Whether viewed with scepticism or wonder, one has to allow that the builders of these ancient tombs knew how to build to last. After all they have stood the rigors of time and the elements... and still they are standing. An amazing sight.
