Daffodil
No spring without Daffodils !
This well known flower looks beautiful and attractive but it contains poison, mostly in the bulb but also in the leaves.
The bulb could be confused with onions, thereby leading to incidents of poisoning.
In 2009 children felt hideous ill at a school in Suffolk, England after adding a Daffodil bulb to soup during a cookery class…….!
