cat, man and dog – each seems to be engrossed in their own personal dream. yet the room is small, and so within the confines of its walls their dream bubbles necessarily must collide: a family of sluggish mice, easy to catch due to some kind of genetic disorder lolling dopily on a giant bovine thigh bone presented to the master of the house, together with a bottle of his favorite wine, by a long-lost friend coming to visit him for his birthday… as i said: a potpourri of day-dreams… ; )) love the quiet but not at all unhappy melancholia oozing from this shot! my favorite detail: the correspondence between the idle hands and the idle dog paws! ; ) greetings, sabine.
