I was born in the North of Russia. As a child, I lay down with friends in the snow and looked at the northern lights, admired their flashes. It's always a mesmerizing sight!

This must be a very spectacular experience for you to witness and capture this beautiful play of Light in the sky! Oh how i wish to see one of these days such big curtain of Auroras in the sky when i will visit such place! I heard you can not find these brilliant northern lights every day! May i know which country is this?

  yes, the auroras (northern lights) can be truly spectacular
  but difficult to photograph
  and do not occur on any kind of schedule.
  here they are shining over the capital city of canada's yukon terrritory - whitehorse ...

I once saw Northern Light in the toilet of a ship on the St. Lawrence River. Great spectacle!
