Thanks Chad,No Elliot is not a Daschund he's a broken coated Patterdale Terrier - The breed is normally used for ratting and foxing, Elliot spent his younger years in the beat line at pheasant shoots and retrieving rabbits and game. He is now 12 1/2 years old and has retired from the hunting scene - Best dog I ever had together with his sister Megan who passed away three weeks ago.
