    Very interesting, Alvaro. Let me tell John that each place has its own charm. That of Carcassona is the fact that is one of the most important cities of the "Country that it could not be", according to the Catalan writer Lluís Racionero. If it was not for religious and political interests (really, like always) The Occitània it would have been able to become one of the most advanced nations of Europe.
    But let's not become scholarly.....

    Wonderful monument to the past, if only she could speak.
    You have one more demonstrated your photogrphic skills, Alvaro.
    Unless you love nature you would be lost where I live, the history dates back to about 1830's and there are about 10 building of that period, the rest are no less than fifty years old.
