European Cornel
The astrological spring begins today and the cornels are in full expansion everywhere and show their finest outfit.
The European cornel, also known as cornelian cherry, is a large shrub or small deciduous tree.
In early spring, small bright yellow flowers open all along the bare stems.
A wonderful display and very useful for early foraging insects.
Dutch name : Gele kornoelje
German name : Kornelkirsche
Latin name : Cornus mas
