In New York City's sprawling 34th Street-Herald Square Subway station complex...
This multi-level station integrates the (IND) Sixth Avenue B,D,F, and M lines with
the tracks of the (BMT) Broadway Line N, Q, R, and W trains. There is also a passage
to the 33rd Street terminus of the PATH trains connecting midtown to points in New Jersey.
The expansive mezzanine level connects the many street and in-building entrances with the two
levels of tracks below. This small corner of the mezzanine was uncharacteristically devoid
of rushing Subway riders at the moment I shot it, but was at least graced by a smiling face!

If I see all these pictures, I really miss to be there around New York. Often I’m thinking back about the great and fabulous time I have had this year there. Well Steve, I love this black and white character of your pictures, it s giving a a fev of the dimension of impressions with a lot of details wherever you go. It’s great. Nice regards Jürgen
