Taken today at the Tempelhofer Field. The kestrel was so busy with the mouse she had just caught and we managed to get very close to her :-)

when i spotted this on the fc title page a couple of days ago, i knew immediately it was yours! don't know why… something in the bloody-beaked kestral girl's huge-eyed look tells me she's instinctively trusting the fellow lady behind the lens… she's got a mouse on her conscience but she knows the camera lady won't mind, as long as she allows her the perfect shot! ; )) and the perfect shot you got, jenipher! so beautiful her surprisingly gentle features, the contemplative eye, the feather culottes ; ) she's wearing! greetings, sabine.

Excellent photo Jenipher! The focus on the face is perfect against the blurred background. A nice low perspective.
