  There is some background on their website https://www.thefiddichside.com/
  It is an extremely small pub .
  It was acquired as a family business a couple of years ago - just before the pandemic, i think.
  The far side of the building was our self-contained , self-catering accommodation.
  The bar operates from the nearside half.
  They do not do food, though.

  Ironically - I do not drink whiskey, myself.
  But I did enjoy seeing the distilleries in the landscape.
  It is a very big business in Scotland - and this small area of the Spey valley - in north-east Scotland - has the highest concentration of whiskey distilleries in the country.
