First view to the Holy Mount Kailash
This place is a must for all pilgrims to stop over and give an offering to the holy mountain Kailash. We're very lucky, the weather forecast told good and sunny days for the coming week and for the time we attempted to circumambulate the Kailash.
The Kailash is an holy mountain in many religions and live teachings like Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism (an Indian religion that prescribes a path of nonviolence towards living beings) and the Bön religion, the origin believing of Tibetan and the branch of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.
The place is covered with prayer flags, stone pyramids and sacrificed things.
At the background you can see the bright, snow white peak of the Kailash.
My picture is taken in May 2004 with a NIKON CoolPix 5000.
