Fisherman's Daughter

This photo was taken early one morning at a small fishers village called Hawston about 2 hours drive from Cape Town South Africa. I submitted it to the Kodak website a couple of years ago and was honoured that it was displayed on Time Square for a day!
The father was waiting for his buddies to come out with their catch of the day. He of course couldn't join them having to look after his little girl. I was always wondering what those little brown eyes wanted to tell. The were so full of emotion, wonder where the mother was???
