Floriade 2011 at night

Floriade is an annual event in Canberra in October it has become a popular event internationally, with the British Queen visiting this year. It is primarily tulips from several nurseries around Canberra with Australian Natives and examples of historic flowers. Using Google to find about the event will show several sites with photo competitions for the best pictures. The image I have posted is a panorama image from a lookout at one end at night. I have movies of a light pantomime with music and there are gnomes painted by children and strange characters looking like fish etc. Floriade is on the edge of Lake Burley Griffen, a short walk from the city.
