Hi Yanina,
Unlike some of the other comments posted above, I disagree that the children are having fun. To me, it looks like they are fleeing something. There are NO smiles on either of the girl's faces, but rather stern looks, and the girl on the left, is wearing too formal, a dress, to run through the fields in comfort.
