@ John: nope Dear, the excavation site (Akrotiri) is still closed to the public, ever since the roof collapsed last year (2005) in Sept/Oct. (?) - a pity...

Die Tür ist ja wohl schon lange nicht mehr benutzt worden - wenn man genau hinschaut. Schönes Detail auf der Insel.
