"Georgium" in Dessau
I took this image on the 21/01/2021 at 12:14 o'clock in the German city Dessau (Dessau-Roßlau). It is the third largest city in the German federal state Saxony-Anhalt in the Eastern Part of Germany. The rivers Elbe and Mulde flow through the city.
Dessau is surrounded by numerous parks and palaces that make it one of the greenest towns in Germany.
The image shows the "Georgium". The Georgium is a princely palace and was built for Johann Georg von Anhalt-Dessau, younger brother of Leopold III, Duke of Anhalt-Dessau. It now houses the Anhaltische Gemäldegalerie art gallery. The building was reconstructed during the last years and will open soon. I couldn't take a picture of the entire building because there are still fences surrounding some parts of the building.
I used a Canon EOS 77D with the Canon EF-S 17-55mm lens. The image is resized and got a color correction of 2-253. I didn't edit it further yet. (9820)
