During a walk around the village Xishou a girl student was drawing the scene of the place.The small town of Xizhou is a rarity in Yunnan. It's easily accessible, but not overrun by tourists. It feels isolated, but outsiders are not considered strange. The local government has implemented policies to maintain Xizhou's traditional appearance, but not in a way that seems forced.
