Goldplate decorated foundation balls
Each time a Thai Buddhist temple is built, nine sacred balls (Lug Limit) are placed in the ground, which are previously fitted with thousands of gold plates by temple goers. One ball before the construction of the temple in the means of the sacred area (bot), in which the Buddha statue will also be located, the other eight in all directions and the worship of high dignitaries who are connected with the building of the temple.
Eight of these sacred golden balls are located next to the newly built Wat Sirindhorn in the Ubon Ratchathani province.
