Grey Heron
This Grey Heron flew from one shore to the other in order, to pose for my camera I guess. I am not experienced enough to take it during flight (those were out of focus) but I'll be working on that too. I think from this angle of view it comes out well. Location was along a canal with the name 'De Vliet'. Just still in Rijswijk but on the way to Delft. I did crop to a reasonable size.

fine portrait of your willing heron here....think leaving a bit more space in the viewing direction would make it even stronger...

You have done very good work with it, it looks beautiful in it's posing. Normally you can't see the nice festhers not so good. Good sharpness and light.bw Astrid
