Happy Hallowe'en!

Happy Hallowe’en, FC!

Sorry I’m late for viewers on the right side of the Pond, but this little scene was a bit of unplanned serendipity.

It was a front lawn celebration of All Hallows Eve I simply could not pass by on this sunny autumn afternoon in Stanardsville, Virginia
in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, as I sought motifs for the two rolls of Kodachrome left over from my trip to Europe earlier this month.

This fellow was only one of the many giggling-ly gruesome displays on that Hallowe'en lawn.

Thanks to Hallowe’en Celebrator Extraordinaire and Whimsical Good Witch to her children and those in the neighborhood, Pamela Collier
for her kindness and hospitality in allowing me to treat some of my remaining Kodachrome to her autumn colors and playful imagination.

BTW, this one is not a Kodachrome, but digital, as I wanted to say “Happy Hallowe’en!” while it still was somewhere ;-)

This design is available as a custom printed Holiday Card.

What a very original picture for Halloween!! It is always celebrated in a much bigger way over there than here. I love the way the pumpkin person has a hat on and the caption is hilarious!!
    Regards

happy halloween and happy november 1st ; )), steve! what a combination of the poetic (the lovely orange trees in the back, the cheerful hooded pumpkin ; ))!) with the – shall we say it nicely? prosaic!… ah, no, it's halloween, let's call a spade as spade: fecal ; ))! kind of a provocative halloween decoration – an invitation really, to kids up to mischief, for who would not feel the sudden urge to wrap a garden like this one in toilet paper over night ; )) – me, i sure would!! greetings, sabine.
