He Plays and the Angel Sings

...or so I would like to imagine.

Early October 2018 in Central Park. I was hoping for autumn colors, but summer was firmly in control.
But that was OK, as the visitors to the park on this balmy afternoon, made for lots of engaging motifs. (*)

I guess my love for Johnny Mercer and the big band era (**) is showing in the title, although I would note
the accordionist was playing something rather more old-world legato, here by the Bethesda Fountain.
