Hunjiang locoshed
Chinese steam locomotive depots were for most of them not very photogenic and difficult to access. This is a typical exemple of a servicing facility at Hunjiang, on the Tonghua to Baihe line, Northeast China. At that time, the Hunjiang to Baihe section was still at 100% in the hands of the JS-Mikados. One of them is taking water while three other sister engines are waiting for the next services. On the left, the sand-filling equipement. Coal was supplied by a (steam) crane.
