To not only pat on your back about how nice the images are - i find this one to be one of your weaker works.The mask is too hard in the left area of the hole - this area is slightly out of focus and the hard edge doesn't play along too well there.
As for perspective - i don't know if you intended that, but the treehole runs to the left while the scene in the back run to the right - i have the impression these elements battle with each other.
The idea is nice - along with the title!
