Olympia a sanctuary of ancient Greece in Elis on the Peloponnese peninsula, is known for having been the site of the Olympic Games in classical times. The Olympic Games were held every four years throughout Classical Antiquity, from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD.[2] The first Olympic Games were in honor of Zeus.

Ordnung muss sein, haben wir gelernt

Meine ersten die ich in der Türkei sah lagen damals in
1978 unscheinbar auf einer Tankstelle.
Das hat sich sicher geändert.

Die Perspektive und der Ausschnitt führen das Auge und vor allem die Fantasie mitten in die griechische Antike. Da machst Du mir große Lust wieder einmal auf den Πελοπόννησος zu reisen, wo ich immer wieder einen Hauch dieser großartigen Vergangenheit gespürt habe.
