In the Shenandoah Valley, No.1
A picturesque ruin close by the North Fork of the Shenandoah River at Woodstock, Virginia.
This stretch of the river is known as the Seven Bends.
On this afternoon in late March, the calendar says Spring, but the trees still say
“Ho, hum, it’s still late winter. We’ll bud and start greening up in a short while. Be patient.”
