Thank you, my friend, it's very very beautiful and a symbolic image, indeed: these few petals in focus symbolize how little really is important in life: loyalty, friendship, love. The rest is just a blurry "insignificant".

until now i thought one couldn't depict scent in a photo! but you proved me wrong! even though i know the gerbera doesn't give off a smell, i'm tempted to think this one does: a delightful blend of rose, strawberry and raspberry i hope… dream… am quite sure of! ; ) the softness of the blurry parts, the intimacy of the dof, the "chorus" of petals – it turns us all into close friends of this beauty… greetings, sabine.
