Jonah Molina
To commemorate the 1st year of my Olympus E-510 (which means its the end of its warranty), I invited my friend to do some photo session. This photo was taken with an off-camera flash set-up. I used my FL-50r with a humble black cartolina snoot to limit the spread of the light. I used my flash wave radio trigger to fire the flash remotely. I tried to position to emulate the classic butterfly lighting (check that butterfly shadow just above the mouth area).
Since Olympus lenses are really razor-sharp, I have to post process the image by selectively putting guassian blur on the skin while keeping the details like the eyes and hair sharp.
I really love one light setup. It pays mastering this setup especially if you don't have enough money to buy extra gears (like me).
