The apex of the arch is at the top of the picture. It is not a true arch, but a crossed plaster beam, with painted woven pattern. The light spill was not removable with the tool I have, I could only crop and change the contrast/brightness to facilitate the weaving.
This is a cropped image, to straighten and tidy up the overall image, which was taken freehand in a dark ruin at the height of the afternoon Turkish sun.
Maybe the brilliant light shows that God has not even abandoned this ruined 17th Century church yet.

the window is pretty bright and maybe a little move upwards would have brought the end of the arch into the photo ..did you try to work on the contrast a little bit?
